Governing Documents
As part of your escrow closing, you should have received copies of our governing covenants and by-laws. If you need additional copies you will find them here. Making major changes to the exterior of your home, to include fencing, requires approval by the Executive Board.
Homeowner Association Fee
All property owners are required to pay annual dues. The fees are currently $300 per household and residents are billed beginning January 1. This applies to developed and undeveloped properties. Association fees are used to maintain/repair/replace/improve recreation area and entrances, street lights, water, electricity, insurance, legal fees, etc.
General Membership Meetings
Your Executive Board consists of four (4) volunteer property owners and up to three (3) at-large members who are elected by the membership for a two-year term. WSHOA meetings are usually held the third Thursday in March, June, September, and November at Nelson County High School at 7:00 p.m.

New and replacement HOA approved mailboxes can be obtained from Eagle Sign Company. The entire mailbox, to include paper holder, pole, and house number, cost approximately $376.64 if you pick it up, or $436.72 if they ship it to you. Eagle Sign Company does not install the mailboxes.
Garbage Pickup
Garbage runs on Mondays. All garbage for curbside collection should be set out the morning of no sooner using covered containers. Loose garbage bags are not acceptable. All garbage containers must be removed from the curb on the day of collection. You can contact the City of Bardstown at 348-5947 for more information. Recycling (blue cans) is picked up on Wednesdays.
Street Lights
If you have street lights that are not working, please contact either Salt River Electric at 1-800-221-7465 or Kentucky Utilities at 1-800-981-0600. KU customers can also report street light outages/problems online.
